We got super lucky this year and didn't see any real snow until the 21st of December. Don't worry... we're paying for it now: tucked in under about 3 feet 10 days later. :)
Since the snow was new and novel, the kids were dying to go out and play in it. I saw a cute idea on Pinterest for snow "coloring" using colored water in squirt bottles. The kids really liked that, plus it helped fill up those LONG Christmas Eve hours.
Sadly, a week later, now that the snow isn't novel, we're facing WEEKS of been cooped up all the time. Is it spring yet?
