Happenings today...

As heard in the car (imagine it in toddler gibberishy speak, because its cuter)...

Carter: I like my sunglasses
Me: You like your sunglesses, buddy?
Carter: Yeah. They're so cool.
As heard (and seen) at home after Allison came out of the bathroom...

Allison: Well Mom, what do you think?
Me: What do I think about what... your hair? Did you put hairspray in it?
Allison: Yes... and I cut it!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I know every mom of a toddler girl goes through this, but NOOOO!!!!!! Luckily, I don't think its too bad. She missed a few key strands that would have made this unfixable except for a pixie cut. I think, as is, I can just hide it... What do you think... can you see it?

How about from the side? I have the "thank-goodness-she-didn't-get-this-one" chunk pulled back a little...

and here you can REALLY see what she did...

I think, if I keep her hair tucked behind her ear with a clip in it that we can hide it until it grows out. I supposed its a good sign that I didn't notice her self-cut right away...

So funny!! It's not too bad. I've seen way way way worse. One friend of mine, her daughter cut one entire side of her hair off. All of it. And she had curly hair, which made it worse. It was terrible. So, yeah. I'd say you lucked out. (:

Oh goodness, I think every child does this at some point or another. Thankfully it's not really noticeable on Allison. Do you remember when Jayden cut her hair at mom and dad's house over Christmas? Here's the blog post about it:

Yeah, not cute!

Yep... I remember Jayden's cut. I keep telling myself that its okay, it can be hidden and its not as bad as it could have been. Now I'm off to lock up all our scissors!

You know I love you sis. But it is becoming more apparent that you cloned yourself in that little girl. :) Hide those scissors.

yes. I know, I know. :) By the way, when will you find out what kind of baby it is that you've got cookin' in there? I'm DYING to go shopping for her. :)

Oh we have been battling the hair cutting business for months now -- Brynn has cut her hair not once but twice, as well as her sister's hair and Elijah Adair's hair.

PS - it really doesn't look that bad.
