New PJs

We've been having trouble finding fall/winter PJs for Allison lately. She's small baby, so even though she's 14 months, she's only wearing size 9 months at most. The problem with PJs is that they don't put grippers on the feeties until size 12 months, which look about twice as big as Allison is. What are we to do?

Its Grandma to the rescue! My mom made Allison 4 pairs of PJs that fit PERFECTLY and are so cute. Allison loves them and so do we. Thanks, Grandma!

Hi Rosie, I don't know if you even know who I am... but I was in your stake growing up... I'm a few years younger than you, I'm Cathie Pitts' daughter... anyway, I found your blog, and I wanted to suggest "Carter's" brand for jammies. They have the no-skid stuff on the bottom of them... and you can find them all over.

Cute blog Rosie.

I remember that frustration. We used to put the puffy fabric paint on the footsies when our boys were small. It worked really well for us.

Allison looks adorable in her PJs!

That's a good tip about the fabric paint--it was in a recent addition of Real Simple too. But it looks like you don't need them anymore. I cannot believe those are homemade. Incredible!

I LOVE anything I don't have to make, it's just a bonus when they are cute!

Wow Allison is a small girl. 9 mos clothes, really? Jimmie is a big boy--he wore 9 mos at 6 mos. We are having a hard time finding sandals for him. The department stores change the clothes seasonally (makes sense) but the seasons here in Ridgecrest are very different. Today (oct 1) the high is supposed to be 95. Does your mom also have talents as a cobbler? ;) The PJ's look great btw.
