A taupe would look really nice with the floor and it's neutral enough to go with whatever carpet you decide on later. But my all time fave would be a really neutral olive color.Mike and Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06577088765207482679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3302154404177745665.post-70391054203741500102011-03-06T21:30:18.252-07:002011-03-06T21:30:18.252-07:00Go for a gray/bluish one...more gray. It looks like there is some of that color in the light fixture. Is it really there, or just the photo? The yellow/tan would also play well with the current color of woodwork.BeckyMchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07858460068535872136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3302154404177745665.post-84371479040155218542011-03-04T23:29:48.349-07:002011-03-04T23:29:48.349-07:00Oh my word! I personally am drawn to the yellow color chip in the middle of the bottom picture. The bottom half of the color card. That's my two cents if it helps any!! So in the dining room it stays. :) I'd really love the freedom to play off of some of the colors in the fixture, but I feel so limited by that darned carpet.Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17352445571971199423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3302154404177745665.post-89945508056988367442011-03-04T13:21:20.191-07:002011-03-04T13:21:20.191-07:00It think I need a shot of the carpet. I don't know if I should make the living & dinig room the same color, or different colors, of have it all the same... I just don't know! I've been thinking about beadboard below the chair rail there (which is only in the dining room)... give me a few and I'll post a picture of the light fixture in that dining room which I really do like...Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17352445571971199423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3302154404177745665.post-45858178302474239512011-03-04T12:04:12.434-07:002011-03-04T12:04:12.434-07:00What room is it you're painting? What room is it you're painting?Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12209391576634638867noreply@blogger.com
